Learning a foreign language can broaden your cultural horizons and give you more confidence when traveling. It's also a proven truth that studying a second language boosts brain performance. People who know more than one language have higher memory, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, as well as greater attention, multitasking ability, and listening skills, according to studies.
